The late Ronald Dworkin on ‘How universal is liberalism?’

To honour the memory of Ronald Dworkin, a brilliant philosopher and advocate of free speech, we post his remarkable 2012 Dahrendorf Lecture.

One of the greatest American legal philosophers died in London on 14 February 2013. He was a supremely eloquent exponent of normative liberal universalism – and of free speech.  To honour his memory, we are posting here the video of his 2012 Dahrendorf Lecture on the subject ‘How universal is liberalism?’
