What is it like to be a satirical cartoonist in Malaysia?

Malaysian cartoonist Zunar talks about what it means to be a satirical cartoonist in Malaysia.

Zulkiflee Anwar Haque, better known as Zunar, is a satirical political cartoonist from Malaysia. He became well-known through his involvement in the Reformasi movement in the late 1990s which led to his detention along with several other activists. In, 2010 Zunar was again arrested and charged for sedition, just hours before launching his book ‘Cartoon-O-Phobia’. Zunar is an advocate for political reform and change in Malaysia. In January 2015, he visited Oxford University to talk about his work and experiences. This video shows excerpts from a talk given at Somerville College.
